CBC South Church Theme: “Doing God’s will, God’s Way”

We are determined and committed to "Developing Total Life Ministries that Change lives, Alter Conditions, and Introduce Christ to the People."

 

Our Aim: Is to make, Baptize and equip Disciples for living the abundant life and to answer God's call to service in the Kingdom.  We are Christ’s Disciples and as ambassadors for Christ we make up the spiritual body of Christ.  We are the church, which is a living organism. Our aim is to bring healing, love, forgiveness, peace, salvation, and transformation in a world that is broken, where humanity is in despair and believing we are hopeless.

Our Core Values: Faithfulness, Fellowship and Friendship.

We are one in Christ through the Power of the Holy Spirit.  We are an empowering People affirming one another in Christ.  As we proclaim the message of the Gospel it is our aim to win souls and transform lives.  We will do this by educating, serving, reaching out to all individuals regardless of their station in life.  We place a strong bond on families and people of all generations, especially our children, youth, young adults, seniors, and singles.

 

Our Mission:  Is to seek and to save the Lost!

We wholeheartedly endeavor to celebrate the Black Church in the struggle for Liberation, Salvation, Social Justice, Equity, Inclusion, Equality and Economic Empowerment within our culture and communities.

CBC-South Total Life Ministries: We invite you to engage the various ministry groups with your Spiritual Gifts, Time, Talents, and Treasure. All are welcome to become involved. You make the difference!

What We Teach and Believe at CBC-South: We teach the entirety of the Bible in Relevant Ways.

  1. Affirmation of Faith : The Apostles Creed​

  2. We commit ourselves to God’s Word and the Baptist Church Covenant

  3. We Believe in and teach the 18 Articles of Faith which is our Traditional Baptist Doctrine. 

  4. CBC South (TLM) Affiliations:  As an Independent, Family Oriented, self-governing Baptist Church we align ourselves with the following Baptist Conventions, their associations, various ministries, boards, commissions, agencies and mission efforts in spirit, doctrine, and polity.  We endeavor to  support the missions of these conventions.
